How it all started.
We’ve been dedicated to making delicious biscuits since 1897 – and we now even make delicious fruit bars for the little ones. And we can’t think of anything we’d rather be doing. Not now, and certainly not in a hundred years. Why not? Because since the very first biscuit, we haven’t lost our joy for baking. Our factory for exquisite biscuits was founded by the Parlasca family in 1897 in Hanover. In 1967, the company’s headquarters moved to Burgdorf in the surrounding area. In other words: out of the city and into a modern new factory. In 2020, Auctus Capital Partners AG acquired a majority stake in Parlasca Keksfabrik and handed over the management to Malte Benesch, who has many years of experience in the food industry and is now also a shareholder. After more than 125 years, this is a true cultural sea change – but one that was initiated with the right vision and the utmost respect for what we do.
