Apprenticeship Machine and plant operator
Help to develop new products and ensure smooth production – as a machine and plant operator with a focus on food technology (m/f/x) , you are choosing an exciting and variable profession with a wide range of tasks.
In this apprenticeship, you will learn how to operate, repair and retool production machines and systems. Machine and plant operators are responsible for the smooth operation of the oven and packaging systems, amongst many other tasks. These include but are not limited to:
- Operating and setting up machines and systems
- Maintaining and servicing machines
- Identifying machine faults and rectifying them
- Preparing work processes and checking machines for proper functioning
- Acquiring in-depth knowledge about production techniques for manufacturing shelf-stable baked goods
From development all the way to the finished product!
Discover all the possibilities that come with creating new products, and play an active role in new developments. You will learn to test raw materials and finished products to ensure that we deliver consistently high quality to our customers. By mixing the recipes, you will ensure that production starts off on the right foot; you will maintain, set up and operate the oven and packaging systems to ensure that they run smoothly.
As a machine and plant operator with a focus on food technology at Parlasca Keksfabrik, you will develop a wide range of different skills in the food industry.
Your tasks:
- Assist various departments in the company, such as production, warehouse, dough production, quality assurance
- Participate in the monitoring and control of various production facilities in shift operation to ensure compliance with occupational safety, quality and hygiene standards
- Participate in maintenance, production tests and troubleshooting
- Support quality assurance tests
- Support improvement projects in various areas
Your successful profile:
- General Certificate of Secondary Education or equivalent with good marks
- Good marks in maths and science
- Interest in the food industry
- Enjoy working with modern technology
- Reliable and flexible
- Independent, diligent and determined
- Enjoy learning new things
